My name is Kailey and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share with you the story of my journey, which ultimately led to the birth of this company.

In 2015, I attended a Kundalini prenatal yoga teacher training program while living in New York City that sparked my interest in embracing a more holistic and natural lifestyle. Shortly after, I relocated to a peaceful, rural, coastal town in Oregon where I had limited access to ready-made, store-bought sources of mental and physical nourishment. As a result, I started to develop the skills to craft these things myself.

Over the past several years, I delved deeply into the worlds of food, cooking, nutrition, and holistic healing. I attended The Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a health coach and I even launched a plant-based, locally-sourced, organic meal delivery business which was all a tremendous learning experience.

During this time, we lived on a vast 100-acre property with our dog and flock of chickens, surrounded by the wild beauty of nature. This immersive experience opened my eyes to the tangible realities of nature, prompting me to re-examine my views on eating meat and how to provide optimal nourishment to my body, especially as I yearned to start a family.

While preparing my body for conception and during pregnancy, I placed great importance on carefully selecting everything I put into and onto my body. My ideal products included *truly clean* (not green-washed), organic, and sustainable ingredients that showed respect for any animals involved and mother earth.

I eventually discovered tallow, a product that met all my requirements and the use of tallow for skin care proved to be highly effective the more I used it.

Creating products with tallow allowed me to merge my passion for health and wellness and creating healthy, beautiful, and nourishing skin care with my other passion- the art of cooking, resulting in me making what I like to call a nutritious meal for the skin.
