While the Mother Tallow is great for any skin type, it works exceptionally well for those with congested, stressed, dull, parched skin. Oregon pasture-raised, grass-fed and finished suet tallow is infused with organic echinacea, marshmallow root and leaf, peppermint, hyssop, lavender, and juniper. We then add Washington AEA-certified emu oil and Oregon extra virgin olive oil and whip the ingredients into a luxurious, creamy, velvety consistency. This unique blend of ingredients is intended to brighten, invigorate, and restore radiance to the skin. The aroma of Mother is gentle and evocative, conjuring up images of lavender fields in full bloom during the beautiful Oregon summers. The scent is complemented by subtle notes of damp, resinous juniper trees and refreshing mint tea, creating a unique and delightful aroma that is both calming and invigorating.

BOTANICAL SPOTLIGHT

ONE OF THE KEY COMPOUNDS IN ECHINACEA IS CAFFEIC ACID, A POTENT ANTIOXIDANT THAT CAN HELP PROTECT THE SKIN FROM DAMAGE CAUSED BY FREE RADICALS. ANOTHER COMPOUND IS ROSMARINIC ACID, WHICH HAS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES AND CAN HELP SOOTHE AND CALM IRRITATED SKIN. ECHINACEA CONTAINS COMPOUNDS SUCH AS FLAVONOIDS AND ALKYLAMIDES. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE BEEN SHOWN TO HAVE ANTIOXIDANT AND ANTI-INFLAMMATORY EFFECTS AND MAY HELP PROTECT THE SKIN FROM OXIDATIVE STRESS. IF YOUR TALLOW CREAM IS TOO FIRM, WE SUGGEST PLACING IT IN A WARM AREA OR WARMING IT BY RUBBING IT BETWEEN YOUR FINGERS UNTIL IT REACHES A SOFTER CONSISTENCY. Great Product!

I love this product. It feels and smells amazing and is so soothing. It’s unlike any cream I’ve tried because it is incredibly rich and moisturizing while also not feeling at all heavy or greasy on the skin. It did not irritate my skin at all and left my dry skin feeling hydrated. I can feel that it is made with much consideration and care and I highly recommend opting for this over any mainstream mass produced skin cream.
